Stained glass workshops are fun and offer the chance to enter the exciting and addictive world of Tiffany. One day stained glass workshops are open to complete beginners or those returning to the craft after a break. No artistic background or experience is required as patterns, materials and ideas are be provided. By appointment, full day workshops are run from 10 – 4 pm for 2-4 students in Marilyn’s workshop in Oulton Broad. Shorter 2/hours sessions are also available in Marilyn’s workshop. Students learn the traditional Tiffany methods of cutting, grinding, copper foiling, soldering and applying patina to complete one project. Weekly 2 hour session workshops for all ability ‘Glassers’ also run every Thurs, 10am-12pm in the Will Stewart Room, St Marks Church in Oulton Broad. Everyone is welcome. Tiffany workshops are a memorable and novel way to celebrate special occasions like birthdays, hen parties etc, and everyone goes home with a hand made original glass memory!
NB: For health and safety reasons this craft is not suitable for those under 16, pregnant women and nursing mothers.
